How to Set Up Watu Pay for Your Digital Solutions Agency Store
Use this guide to enable Watu Pay and confirm customers can complete payments successfully.
Step 1: Open Payment Gateways
- Go to Configuration > System Settings > Payment Gateways.
- Find and enable Watu Pay.
Step 2: Enter your gateway settings
- Fill in the required account credentials provided for your Watu Pay setup.
- Set callback and webhook details as instructed for your account.
- Save changes.
Step 3: Confirm customer checkout behavior
- Place a small test order from your storefront.
- Choose Watu Pay at checkout.
- Complete the payment flow and return to the order confirmation page.
Step 4: Verify payment records in admin
- Open the related invoice in admin.
- Confirm invoice status updates correctly after payment.
- Confirm no duplicate invoices are created.
Step 5: Verify customer communication
- Confirm payment confirmation messages are sent as expected.
- Confirm setup/access emails are still delivered.
Troubleshooting quick checks
- Wrong credentials: recheck all gateway keys and account identifiers.
- No callback update: verify callback URL and webhook reachability.
- Invoice not updating: review gateway logs and payment notifications.
